Service Terms & Conditions

Shine Brigade Window Cleaning reserves the right to confirm that the size of the property and the related scope of the requested services are reasonable and consistent with the information provided by the customer.
By agreeing to receive services by Shine Brigade Window Cleaning, the customer is agreeing to provide Shine Brigade Window Cleaning employees and/or associated partners access to their property and residence in so much that is required to perform the agreed upon services.
If the customer is not physically present at the agreed upon time of service, and the services require Shine Brigade Window Cleaning and/or associated partners to access the inside of the customers home, the customer grants authorization to Shine Brigade Window Cleaning employees and/or associated partners to access your property in a manner necessary to perform the agreed upon services.
Should the customer choose not to grant authorization to Shine Brigade Window Cleaning employees and/or associated partners to performs services without the customers physical presence, the customer agrees to be present at the time of the scheduled services. In the case that the customer is not present, Shine Brigade Window Cleaning retains the right to depart the premises after thirty (30) minutes and an absence fee of $100 dollars will be charged to the customer. Shine Brigade Window Cleaning may charge or waive this fee out our sole discretion.
The customer acknowledges that the services provided by Shine Brigade Window Cleaning do not replace, or render unnecessary general maintenance and repairs to the customers property. Shine Brigade Window Cleaning holds no responsibility should the customers property be rendered damaged and worn due to inadequate maintenance by the customer.

Workmanship Guarantee

Shine Brigade Window Cleaning is committed to providing the utmost quality in all services provided, and therefore provides the customer with the right to withhold payment until such time that the customer is satisfied with the work performed.
The customer acknowledges and accepts that Shine Brigade Window Cleaning may request a deposit for services at Shine Brigade Window Cleaning’s sole discretion. This deposit may be refunded as part of our workmanship guarantee until such time that the customer is satisfied with the services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Shine Brigade Window Cleaning requires that a 48-hour notice be provided for any cancellations or re-scheduling of services. Should the cancellation or re-scheduling be made after this time, Shine Brigade Window Cleaning holds the sole authorization to charge a $50 cancellation/re-scheduling fee.
We understand that emergencies happen, and Shine Brigade Window Cleaning therefore may choose to waive all cancellation or re-scheduling fees at Shine Brigade Window Cleaning’s sole discretion.
If a deposit has been made for services, and cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the scheduled services, Shine Brigade Window Cleaning will provide a full refund. Should cancellation occur after this time, Shine Brigade Window Cleaning will provide a full refund less the $50 cancellation fee, subject to Shine Brigade Window Cleaning’s discretion to waive this fee.
Shine Brigade Window Cleaning reserves the right to cancel a service at any time if we feel that the requested services are unreasonable, or if we believe that the safety of any employees and/or associated partner is in jeopardy. This includes both physical, emotional and psychological harm, and is for the sole judgement of Shine Brigade Window Cleaning subject to any laws or legislations applicable in the area of services.

Sales Taxes

The applicable sales tax (whether provincial sales tax only or a harmonized federal and government sales tax, as the case may be) based on the customer’s address provided will be applied.
Discounts will be applied on the pre-tax amount for the services payable, such that the taxes charged will be applied against the net sales amount after such discounts.
Deposits will be based on the pre-tax sales price and collected on a tax free basis. At the time of final billing, taxes will be collected on the gross amount of the sales price, net of any applicable discounts.

Modifications to Services Terms & Conditions

Shine Brigade Window Cleaning retains the right to add, remove, amend or other modify all terms and conditions herein on a case by case basis with each customers. The modifications with be communicated with the individual for the specified service agreement. In such case that a modification has occurred, the modifications will override the terms herein and will act as the governing terms for the service agreement. These modifications do not in any way override or void the remaining terms and conditions of the agreement herein.
